Lebanon Township Museum

57 Musconetcong River Road, Hampton, NJ 08827

908-638-8523

Located in a circa 1823 two-story schoolhouse, the Lebanon Township Museum shares the story of the people – past and present – of the local region. The museum fosters connections among individuals through care and interpretation of the collection, engaging exhibits, educational initiatives, and dynamic programming. It also utilizes both art and artifacts to celebrate local lives and legacies while highlighting the impact they have had on the community.

The Carriage Shed Museum Annex, found in the museum's yard, hosts interactive permanent exhibits for the enjoyment and education of the public. Visitors will find a restored bobsleigh that served as one of the area's first school buses, beams from the Changewater dam, and medical artifacts from the New Jersey State Sanatorium for Tuberculosis.
